Lost: Season Four

Season Four was originally planned to be 16 episodes long, as part of the final three-season arc agreement with ABC. With the writer's strike putting a huge hiatus on filming, here's what Season Four will consist of:

• 7 back to back episodes that will run on Thursdays at 9:00 from January 31st to March 13th
• Expect a minimum 4 week break, then
• 6 back to back episodes in the 10:00 timeslot after new Grey's Anatomy

The season is still intended to end the same way, despite the shortening of the number of episodes, so expect high-octane story-telling throughout. Damon Lindelof has been quoted as noting there will be no "ping-pong matches" this season.
